Who is going to say it, I will. What is it with the long hair in the NFL? It seems that there are more and more of them. Ndamukong
Suh got a personal foul called on him for pulling a running back down by his hair, of course it was ruled a horse collar. If that wasn’t bad enough they fined Suh with out watching the replays.
Has anyone heard the outcome of his appeal? You know what should be done? There should be a special helmet made for those with this tendency. I mean after all even the girls were helmets with holes cut in top for their long hair. Wouldn’t it be cute to see a bunch of men running around with their ponytails sticking out the top of their helmets? Even my grill cover doesn’t have a hole for a thing to stick out, and most of the time it is a hotter item than most of the players anyway.
The United States Coast Guard (USCG) is a branch of the United States Armed Forces and is one of the seven uniformed services. The Coast Guard is a maritime, military, multi-mission service and is unique among the military branches for having a maritime law enforcement mission (with jurisdiction in both domestic and international waters) and a federal regulatory agency mission as part of its mission set. It operates under the Department of Homeland Security during peacetime, and can be transferred to the Department of the Navy by the President or the Congress during a time of war.
The United States was founded by Alexander Hamilton as the Revenue Cutter Service on August 4, 1790, it lays claim to being the United States’ oldest continuous seagoing service.
The Coast Guard’s legal authority differs from the other four armed services and operates simultaneously under the Title 10 of the United States Code. Because of its legal authority, the Coast Guard can conduct military operations under the Department of Defense or directly for the President.
The Coast Guard’s enduring roles are Maritime Safety, Maritime Security, and Maritime Stewardship. To carry out those roles the Coast Guard has eleven statutory missions.
The Coast Guard motto is “Semper Paratus“, Latin for “Always Ready” or “Always Prepared”. With this said a U.S. Coast Guard grill cover will hold up to this phrase and be ready to shine for all to see at your next cookout. Your grill will have bold colors so the emblem will be in great detail and have an awsome look to it.
The Marines comes from the English adjective marine, meaning of the sea, via French marin(e), of the sea from Latin marinus (“maritime”), they are military forces similar to the army. Historically the marine forces or marine corps are infantry forces that are part of our country’s navy. In some of the countries the marine force or marine corps are under independent command.
Semper Fidelis is Latin for “Always Faithful”. In the United States it is known as the motto of the U.S. Marine Corps (shortened to Semper Fi in Marine contexts), Semper fidelis has served as a slogan for many families in many countries, dated to have been started no later than the 16th century.
Tasks that are undertaken by the marines are providing security in a warship while at sea, reflecting the nature of the ships’ company and the risk of mutiny. Other tasks also include boarding of vessels during combat or the capture of ships and providing manpower for raiding ashore in support of the naval objectives. Marine elements would also contribute to the campaign ashore, in support of the military objective.
With the industrialization of warfare in the 20th Century the scale of the landing operations have increased, and brought an increased likelihood of opposition. A need for co-ordination of the various military elements. Marine forces have evolved to specialize in the skills and capabilities required for amphibious warfare.

Air force is also known in some countries as an air army or air corps, it is in the broadest sense, the national military organization that conducts aerial warfare. It is the branch of a nation’s armed services that is responsible for aerial warfare as distinct from an army, navy or any other branch. The air forces are responsible for gaining control of the air, carrying out strategic-bombing missions and providing support to surface forces.
The term “air force” may also refer to a tactical air force or numbered air force, which is an operational formation within a national air force. Air forces typically consist of a combination of bombers, fighters, helicopters, transport planes and all other aircraft.
Many of the air forces are also responsible for operations of the military space, intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBM), and communications equipment. Some air forces command and control other air-defence assets such as antiaircraft artillery, surface-to-air missiles, or anti-ballistic missile warning networks and defensive systems.
As an organization, the air forces have “ground support” to support the pilots and the aircrew. They also support employees who assist and/or support other employees. Pilots cannot fly the aircraft without the assistance of other personnel such as engineers, fuels, loadmasters, mechanics, and additional support-oriented career field.

The Navy traces its origins to the Continental Navy, established during the American Revolutionary War (1775–1783) in Beverly, Massachusetts. The United States Constitution provided the legal basis for a military force by giving Congress the power “to provide and maintain a navy”.
The 21st century United States Navy maintains a sizable global presence, deploying in such areas as the Middle East, the Mediterranean, and East Asia. It is a blue water navy with the ability to project force into the regions of the world, engage in forward areas during peacetime, and rapidly respond to regional crises, making it an active player in the American foreign and defense policy.
The Navy is administratively managed by the Department of the Navy, which is headed by the civilian Secretary of the Navy. The Department of the Navy is a division of the Department of Defense, which is headed by the Secretary of Defense. The highest ranking Naval officer is the Chief of Naval Operations.
The mission of the United States Navy is to protect and defend the right of the United States and our allies to move freely on the oceans and to protect our country against her enemies.

The Army is the branch of the United States armed forces responsible for the land-based military operations. It is the largest and the oldest established branch of the U.S. military, and is one of seven uniformed services. The modern Army has its roots in the Continental Army which was formed on 14 June 1775. It was formed before the establishment of the United States, to meet the demands of the American Revolutionary War. Congress created the United States Army on 14 June 1784 after the end of the war to replace the disbanded Continental Army. The Army considers itself to be descended from the Continental
Army and dates its inception from the origins of the force.
The primary mission of the Army is to provide necessary forces and the capabilities in the support of the National Security and Defense Strategies. Z Control and operation is administered by the Department of the Army, one of the three military departments of the Department of Defense. The civilian head is Secretary of the Army and the highest ranking military officer in the department. The Chief of Staff, unless the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff or Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff are Army officers.
A standing army is an army composed of full-time career soldiers who ‘stand over’, in other words, who do not disband during times of peace. They differ from army reserves who are activated only during such times as war or natural disasters.
