My husband and I are ready to retire and hit the road. We have simplified our life and made it easy to travel all around the countryside. We want to fulfill our bucket list and live our dreams out on the highways. We want to make the memories and keep them with us forever. There are many places to stop and visit on our long journey that we have mapped out for ourselves. We hope to be able to surprise a lot of our friends and family as we make our way into the wild blue yonder.

We are taking the bare essentials that we need to keep living light for us so we can enjoy the simple pleasures that are awaiting us along the path we choose to take. We have our spare tire cover on our toyhauler to protect it from all the treacherous weather out there and to give it an awesome look while going down the highway.

Remembering A Great Vacation

What a beautiful scene to see when you want to go to the beach and just relax. The water is so blue and the calmness is overwhelming as the water just floats along serenely. You just want to have a comfortable lawn chair and a wonderful tasting cool drink with an umbrella and fruit hanging off the side. The wind is blowing ever so lightly making waves brushing up against the sand along the beach.

Having this scene on a tire cover sure makes it easy to remember the wonderful vacation that one takes with a picture perfect scene everyday showing on the spare tire cover. It’s much easier to take a picture and have it made into almost anything so you can treasure it and for everyone to see what you experienced. What a way to keep the memories.

Save The Rubber

The tire is a round-shaped covering that fits around a wheel rim to protect it. It helps enable better vehicle performance by providing it with a flexible cushion that absorbs shock while keeping the wheel in close contact with the ground. Being a circle helps it to roll smoothly across any terrain on the ground to get you thru it with ease.

The materials of modern tires nowadays are made of rubber and fabric along with mixtures of compound chemicals. They consist of tread and body. The tread helps with the traction while the body ensures the support and prevents a rough ride. Before rubber came along, the make of tires were simply bands of metal that fit around the wooden wheels to prevent wear and tear so fast. Now these days, the vast majority of tires are a doughnut-shaped body of cords and wires encased in the rubber and generally filled with compressed air to form an inflatable cushion. Pneumatic tires are used on many types of vehicles, such as bicycles, motorcycles, cars, trucks, earthmovers, and aircraft.

To prevent your spare tires from looking like this you can cover it with a wheel cover and prevent the treacherous weather from damaging your spare tire. With a spare tire cover it helps protect it and give it a new look. It makes it easy to dress up any vehicle with your favorite theme.

Air Pressure For Tires

Keeping the right amount of air pressure in the tires helps the tires last much longer. It will also help with the handling of your car for better safety measures and helps saving money on fuel. We all need to save on fuel as much as we can.

Tires will lose pressure daily and depending on the weather it could lose more than two pounds of air per month. It is highly recommended that you check the air pressure in the tires every other time you stop to fill up for gas. Many vehicles have different tire pressures on the front and rear. You also need to check the pressure in your spare tire.Your vehicle owner’s manual will have the correct air pressure for your specific tires for your vehicle. The vehicle door edge, doorpost, glove box door or fuel door will display the correct air pressure that should be listed on the tire placard.

Nowadays it’s easier and more fun to protect your spare tire cover on your favorite ride. With the tire size chart it helps to figure out what is the correct size you need to make it fit right. After paying the money we pay for vehicles now, it helps to keep everything on it looking like new. With all the extras made for the outside appearance it sure makes it easy to express yourself and give it a little flair.

So if you have a ride with a spare showing, than an awesome looking tire cover is the hot ticket. It will give it a unique look and protect the tire from being weathered out from the hazard change in temperatures and storms.

If leaving home after graduating from high school wasn’t bad enough, they grow up and move thousands of miles away and pull up roots making their life fitting for them. We will miss them and hope for all the best for them.

Our son moved to Montana 4 years ago and we get to see him once or twice a year if possible. He is here now for a visit only to take back his brother and his wife to pull up roots out there with their 2 horses and the dog.  They love Montana with the open ranges and the beautiful mountains as far as the eye can see. They are all packed and leaving on Sunday. They are staying to celebrate our wedding anniversary and than they are off to the wild blue yonder.

They are hauling the horses in the trailer and on the spare tire they have a deer buck hunting tire cover on it. They are hoping to get one this winter as the hunting season approaches. We are looking forward to be able to visit them in the near future.

Sabres And Skull

Modern pirates nowadays use a great deal of modern technology. Reports that crimes of piracy have involved the use of combat knifes, machetes, assault rifles, pistols, shotguns, mounted machine guns, mobile phones, satellite phones, GPS, sonar systems, modern speedboats, RPGs and grenade launchers.

It is estimated that between 10% to 50% of pirate attacks are actually reported to the authorities.

International ships are equipped with helicopters to patrol the waters where pirate activity has been reported, because the area is very large and it makes it easier to cover more ground. Some ships are equipped with anti-piracy weaponry such as a sonic device that sends a sonic wave out to a directed target, creating a sound so powerful that it bursts the eardrums and shocks pirates, causing them to become disoriented enough to drop their weapons, while the vessel being pursued increases speed and engages in evasive maneuvering.

There are legal barriers to prosecuting individuals captured in international waters. Countries are struggling to apply existing maritime law, international law, and their own laws, which limits them to having jurisdiction over their own citizens. According to piracy experts, the goal is to “deter and disrupt” pirate activity, and pirates are often detained, interrogated, disarmed, and released. With millions of dollars at stake, pirates have little incentive to stop.

Pirates are also known for common mascots and named after a sports team. This is why the fans will have a sabres and skull on their spare tire covers to show they are pirate fans and/or displaying there school mascot.

Alex Rodriguez is soon to be a member of the 600 Club along with the other 6 greats of baseball.  Barry Bonds, Sammy Sosa, Ken Griffey Jr., Willy Mays, Hank Aaron, and Babe Ruth are members as we all know. A-Rod has more extra base hits this year than he did all of last season.

The fans were groaning and even a few boos came from the stadium when A-Rod missed hitting the No. 600 in his final batting order in the eighth inning. He did hit a double on his exit for pinch-runner Ramiro Pena.

Rodriguez said ”It was certainly a fun at-bat, the fans really got into it. I saw all the light bulbs go off. I actually had to take the first pitch to refocus my eyes.”

It will be interesting to watch and see what the next game brings for A-Rod. All the fans will be fired up and showing off their support with their jeep spare tire covers on their vehicles.
